Anna will be presenting Shape Up For Business at various Women in Business Network meetings this autumn. On Wednesday 27th October 12 - 2 pm she is at Farnborough near Banbury.

"PROOF OF THE PUDDING? Well we know we’re doing something right because our motivated, multi-skilled and mightily vocal members are no push-over and would pretty quickly tell us if we weren’t. Many of the women gathering once a month at our structured, lunchtime meetings (we currently have over 60 different groups) have the sort of corporate background which teaches caution if not a certain amount of cynicism, whilst others have been around the block enough times to know there’s no such thing as a free lunch. They do know though that no matter how brilliant their business, if not enough people are finding out about it, they’re on a hiding to nothing.

... IS IN THE EATING. The number of members at a WIBN meeting can vary but usually falls between 17 and 25 with a number of different visitors attending every month. Each of the people present learns about you, your company and what type of clients or specific referrals you’re seeking. You’re all there for the same reason, to grow your business, so they’re as happy to help you as you are to help them. At a conservative estimate each of those women probably knows between 6 and 12 other people who might want to use your services - you do the maths!

AND BECAUSE we stick to a one profession per group rule you won’t find yourself sitting between two other ladies in the same business as you (unless you are attending a new group launch meeting)!

WE’RE A MEMBER-LED ORGANISATION which means we listen to what you say and what you want. More and more like-minded ladies are joining existing groups whilst in areas where groups don’t yet exist, enterprising women are purchasing our business model as a franchise and setting them up.
